Do you enjoy overseas travel and meeting people or want to broaden your experience of planning?
If so, then apply for one of this year's Planning Summer School (PSS) travelling scholarships worth up to £2,000 to help with the costs of travel to study a planning issue of your personal choice.
Two awards are to be made - one to a practitioner and the other to a student. Additional cash up to £1,000 is available to cover the winners' attendance at the PSS in Exeter between 12 and 16 September, where they will participate in an informal evening session. Applications should comprise a 300-word summary about the proposed destination, the planning purpose of your trip, intended methodology and names of two referees. Judges will be looking for interesting, original proposals to be carried out and written up by the end of August.
For more information, please visit www.planningsummerschool.org/papers/pphome.php to look at studies by previous winners. Applications must be made by midday on 17 April to Linda Durtnal by email at admin@planningsummerschool.org or fax on 01296 422161.
