Application procedure and deadlines.
In order to be eligible for a scholarship, you must submit your complete program application (including scholarship essay) before one of the following dates; at which time the scholarship applications received to date will be reviewed:
April 15, 2009
June 15, 2009
August 15, 2009
An additional essay question is included in the IMBA program application and must be answered in order to be considered for a scholarship.
Those applicants wishing to apply for a scholarship are invited to submit an additional two-page essay (further to the five application essays) with their application form.
The essay topic is as follows:
What personal contribution have you made to your work or to the community that makes you deserving of a Nyenrode scholarship? If you are awarded a scholarship, what will be your personal contribution to Nyenrode as an alumnus of the International MBA program?
After each deadline, all program and scholarship applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of the scholarship essays and program applications. The Scholarship Committee will decide which candidate(s) will receive a scholarship and determine the value of each on a per-candidate basis. The scholarship may also be accompanied by a Nyenrode Cedo Nulli loan. The Scholarship Officer will send a scholarship offer to the applicant within three weeks of the application deadline.
Scholarships will be deducted from the tuition fee of the International MBA program. There are no cash awards. The student should be prepared to cover all other program related expenses including living expenses and the Dutch study visa (if applicable) either by a bank loan or private savings. Scholarships will only be valid for the 2009-2011 International MBA program and can not be transferred in case of deferral.
