PhD studentship at University of Zurich

The Institute of Computational Linguistics (University of Zurich, Switzerland)has an immediate opening for a PhD student to carry out research in the area ofsentiment detection. The position is funded by the Swiss National ScienceFoundation (SNF).

Duration: 3 years.

Salary: Beginning salary CHF 39'600/y, rising to CHF 45'600/y.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in computationallinguistics, especially statistical NLP including machine learning (MSc, orequivalent). A keen interest in the topic of sentiment detection and the will topursue a doctoral degree in Computational Linguistics at the University ofZurich are expected.More details on the project can be found at http://www.cl.uzh.ch/snf08.html
